PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive antitheft system using a portable telephone with a digital camera. SOLUTION: This antitheft system is provided with an automobile 10, an emergency indicating light 11, a lighting system 12, a door opening and closing switch 13, an emergency switch, a fare meter 15, a portable telephone 20, a digital camera 30, an on-vehicle antitheft device 100, an image management server device 200, and a public telephone network 300. This antitheft system stores a face photograph picked up by the portable telephone with the digital camera in the image management server device to provide the effective evidence to be used as a montage photograph when the crime is actually committed.
