PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element that has a high luminous efficiency and maintains a high luminance for a long period, and has little deterioration by electricity flow. SOLUTION: This is an organic luminescent element that has a luminous part made of one or two layers of a layer containing at least one kind of an organic compound between a pair of electrodes provided on a base body. At least one layer of the above luminous part is a luminous element that contains a porphyrin derivative compound as expressed by the formula (1) or (2). In the formulae, R or R' shows alkyl group having carbon atom number of 5-20. M shows Cr, Ni, Cu, Co, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ir, Pt or Au.
