PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized commutator motor where its fabrication is easy, yield strength in the rotating shaft direction is enhanced, holding properties of a brush is improved and weight is reduced. SOLUTION: A bracket 6 consists of a molded article of resin. A bracket 14 of the side, where a commutator and a brush are positioned, is made almost conical setting a rotating shaft 10 as the center. The outline dimension of a bearing 11 side bracket end is formed smaller as compared with the outline dimension of a stator core 4 side open end. A penetration hole 15 for fixing the brush is formed in a brush fixing part of the almost conical bracket 14, thereby a brush sleeve 9 can be held rigidly by a long distance, as compared with the conventional bracket.
