PURPOSE: A burglarproof apparatus of a vehicle using a number plate is provided to prevent the vehicle from being robbed by containing a chip generating an inherent signal to the number plate, and starting an engine when the signal coincides with the signal generated from the original number plate. CONSTITUTION: A chip(21) is contained into a number plate(20). The chip includes information with regard to a vehicle number and generates an inherent signal. The chip transmits the signal to an ECU(10) for controlling an inner electronic parts through an interface(30). The interface is placed between the ECU and the chip, and transmits and receives the information by wire or wireless. An engine is started only when the signal coincides with the signal generated from the number plate by comparing and confirming the signal. |
