PURPOSE: A system for a foreign education using a public switched telephone network and the Internet and a method thereof are provided to learn a foreign language voluntarily without a deterioration of a sound quality by combining the Internet with a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). CONSTITUTION: A learner telephone(10) is connected to a PSTN. The first VoIP gateway(27) connects an analogue line such as a PSTN and a digital line such as the Internet thereto, converts data interactively, and has an opponent calling function. A plurality of VoIP gateways(30-32) is connected to the Internet and mounted in each foreign country. A plurality of lecturer telephones(41-44) is connected to the VoIP gateways(30-32). In the case that many lecturer telephone(42,43) are connected to one VoIP gateway, an internal switching system(35) is connected to the lecturer telephone(42,43) using the VoIP gateways(31). In a CTI(Computer Telephony Integrate)(20) for connecting the first VoIP gateway(27) to many learner telephone(10), a control function of a computer is applied to a telephone by integrating a computer with a telephone system. Thus, a user supplies a plurality of information to a call which is entered to an interior and distribute information. |
