The pressurised gas storage and feed system consists of a cylinder (12) with sufficient structural integrity for the stored fluid, inlet and outlet flow regulators, and an internal heater to control the gas pressure. The heater is in the form of a heat exchanger (18) carrying a heated transmission medium such as a stored gas heated in a separate heat exchanger by hot gases from a rocket motor. The cylinder, which has a pressure casing of forged and welded titanium, is designed to store helium in a supercritical state at about 4600 psi and 20 Deg R.
