PURPOSE: An air bag cover of a vehicle is provided to prevent a damage of a crash pad when the air bag is expanded, without providing an alternative reinforcing frame by forming a reinforcing rib at a hard panel of the cover. CONSTITUTION: A housing(40) in which an air bag is installed, is placed at an inside of the crash pad(10), and the inside of the housing is sealed. A cover(100) is installed to form a co-plane with the crash pad. The cover is composed of a hard panel(110), a foam layer provided at a front side of the hard panel, and a skin fixed at the foam layer. A reinforcing rib(111) for preventing a damage of the crash pad is formed integrally with the hard panel when the air bag is expanded. A notch is formed at front and back sides in a certain depth, and is broken and rotated when the air bag is expanded. |
