The vibration damper consists of at least one elastic element (4) mounted on a base (5) and covered by a compression block (3) which carries the cleaning apparatus (1, 2). The elastic element can be in the form of a cushion inside a sealed chamber comprising a metal box and a cover with an acid-resistant plastic coating and seal, and a hole for an anchoring stud. The compression block can also have at least one hole for a fixing rod connecting it to the elastic element and base.
