PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To localize an influence range of renewal by narrowing a renewal range in which a process is initialized with respect to a software failure and a hardware failure and also to shorten a service interruption time. SOLUTION: Servers 302 to 304 are allocated to a domain 301, and servers 306 and 308 are allocated to a domain 305. In the case a system failure occurs, the failure is detected and a failure part is specified, and if the failure part is defined as a software failure, a recovery procedure is determined on the basis of the type of a process in which the software failure occurs, and the process is restarted according to the recovery procedure. In such a case, the renewal range is limited to a domain unit. Meanwhile, in the case that the failure part is defined as a hardware failure, a process on a failed server is restarted on another normal server. |
