METHOD OF DETERMINING DETERIORATION OF STORAGE BATTERY USED IN UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display deterioration of a storage battery that is used in an uninterruptible power supply, without mounting a dummy resistor. SOLUTION: The uninterruptible power supply consists of an AC-DC converter that rectifies AC power, an inverter that converts the rectified DC into AC, a storage battery, and a switching means that supplies electric power of the storage battery to the inverter if a power failure occurs to the AC power source. Deterioration of the battery is displayed, if the voltage of the storage battery becomes a prescribed voltage or lower at no-load operation of the inverter.
