摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase quantity of light from an organic EL device. SOLUTION: The organic EL device 1 is constructed of a first organic EL emitter 10 of plane emission type and a second organic EL emitter 20 of side face emission type. The first organic EL emitter 10 is constructed of a glass substrate 11 and an ITO membrane 12, an organic layer 13, a cathode layer 14, and a sealing substrate 15 that are laminated on its back. The second organic EL emitter 20 is constructed of a glass substrate and an ITO membrane 22, a luminous layer 23, a cathode layer 24, and a sealing substrate 25 that are laminated on its both sides. The outside of the second organic EL emitter 20 is covered by a mirror having a high reflection factor excluding the part of the side face of the glass substrate 21. And the opening part 21a of the second organic EL emitter 20 is arranged to be opposed to the side face of the glass substrate 11 of the first organic EL emitter 10.</p>
