PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging and display device by which fixed noise in the image signal of a solid-state imaging device is effectively restricted and also a display image is obtained with high quality. SOLUTION: In an around-a-vehicle circumference visual recognition device, a correction control part 5 subtracts the fixed noise levels of respective pixels which are stored in a pixel data memory 3 from the signal levels of the respective pixels which are given from an imaging unit 1 in a state where a shutter 13 is kept open when an operation mode is a correction mode and, then, the correction signal levels of the respective pixels which are the results of the subtraction are outputted to a color processing part 7 so as to display the image. In the meantime, the operation mode is changed-over from the correction mode to a noise extraction mode by a prescribed timing, the shutter 13 is changed-over from an open state into a shielding state in the noise extraction mode then, the signal levels of the respective pixels outputting from the imaging unit 1 in this case are stored in the pixel data memory 3 as the fixed noise level.
