PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect an article fed into an article feed pot. SOLUTION: When the article A is fed from the article feed port 3d into an article feed passage 3b, the article A is latched on one end side of an article latching plate 5a of an article stopping mechanism 5, and stopped inside the article feed passage 3b. The article A is surely detected thereby because the article A is stopped in a detection position of an article sensor 4. An article stop condition by the article stopping mechanism 5 is released when the article A is detected by the article sensor 4.
