Has a container (3) with lower opening (8) fitted with a conical stopper (11) pointing upwards which by an oscillating vertical movement permits precise flow of the food pellets. Has a chamber (9), fed from the container, and situated below it, which is alternatively closed and opened by the stopper so as to regulate the flow of food pellets. The shape of the chamber is adapted to the shape of the stopper. A vertical oscillating mechanism (13,14) controlled by an electronic circuit (17) drives the stopper and a mixing claw (7). A control allows variation of frequency and amplitude of the stopper oscillations as well as the number of operating cycles. The feed can be also operated manually. The distributor has a time programmer (18) fitted with several memory functions so that the daily feed can be varied as required. The device is light and compact and is fitted with a rechargeable battery.
