The ear cleaner made e.g. in one piece from a plastic material by injection moulding, consists of a stick (1) with an elongated loop (2) at one or both ends that collects impurities from the external auditory meatus when it is inserted and rotated. The stick is 8 cm long and 0.25 cm thick, with the loops 0.5 cm across. A variant of the design has two intersecting loops on each end.
