PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of an aberration and the deterioration of optical characteristics by using a 2-wavelength laser to prevent an increase in the number of part items and the enlargement of an optical pickup device, and preventing the oblique incidence of a luminous flux on an objective lens without increasing the effects of the loss of an optical output or the wavelength fluctuation of the luminous flux on the optical characteristics. SOLUTION: This optical pickup device is provided with a 2-wavelength laser 1 having two light emission points placed close to each other to emit light beams of different wavelengths, an objective lens 5 for receiving two luminous fluxes emitted from the 2-wavelength laser 1 to converge them on the signal recording surfaces of optical recording media 6a and 6b, and a wedge- shaped mirror 4 arranged on an optical path between the 2-wavelength laser 1 and the objective lens 5 to set a difference in incident angles of the two luminous fluxes emitted from the 2-wavelength laser 1 with respect to the objective lens 5 roughly to zero. |
