PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic transportation device capable of stably and efficiently transporting and hopping fine particles. SOLUTION: This electrostatic transportation device is equipped with a transporting base plate 1 having a plurality of electrodes 12 generating an electric field for transporting and hopping fine particles by an electrostatic force, wherein a width of each of the electrode 12 in a traveling direction of the fine particles is set to be in a range of 1 time to 20 times an average particle diameter of the fine particle, a pitch between the electrodes 12 in the traveling direction is set to be in a range of 1 time to 20 times the average particle diameter of the fine particles and driving waveforms of n phases or more (n is integer of >=3) are applied to the respective electrodes 12 form a driving circuit 2. |
