PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-demand system broadcast data distributor by which a viewer can view a program broadcast in an unspecified broadcast area at any time when the viewer desires to view, and to provide a broadcast data distribution/reception device, a broadcast data distribution method for a video server, and a broadcast data distribution/reception method. SOLUTION: The broadcast data distribution/reception device comprises a service providing device acting like a server and a viewer side device provided with a computer, and they are interconnected via the Internet. The service providing device receives a television broadcast program at all times and stores it as data. A viewer operates a remote controller configuring the viewer side device (S21) to make a distribution request of a desired broadcast program to the service providing side device (S22-S26). Then the service providing side device distributes broadcast data of a stored program to the viewer side device on the basis of the distribution request (S15).
