SOLUTION: The information providing system has a broadcasting station 200 for transmitting broadcasting information, corresponding to regional information on a mobile base station, and a portable terminal 1 that communicates with the mobile base station 100; receives regional information on the mobile base station for storage; and at the same time, selects and reproduces broadcasting information corresponding to the stored regional information out of broadcasting information which is being transmitted from the broadcasting station 200, and an information supply server 300 that receives position information on the portable terminal 1; and transmits regional information on the mobile base station, based on the position information to the portable terminal via the mobile base station. |
