CARD HOLDING PRINTABLE TAGS TO MAKE IDENTIFICATION MARKS FOR CABLES AND ELECTRIC COMPONENTS AND METHOD OF PRINTING IDENTIFICATION MARKS ON SAID TAGS

A card holding printable tags to make identification codes for cables and electric components comprises a plate-like support (2) of injection-moulded plastic material provided with shaped slits (4) delimiting tags (5) connected to at least one sprue (6) through frangible connecting portions (7). Each of said tags (5) has a printable surface (13) and at least one connecting lug (15) jutting out on a base side (14) opposite to the printable surface (13), structured in such a manner that draw effects on the printable surface (13) are prevented. Printing of the identification codes on the tag-holding card comprises the steps of disposing the card (1) on an elastically yielding substrate (18) and submitting the tags (1) to a printing treatment by thermal transfer onto the respective printable surfaces (13).
