The invention relates to a support structure (2) for a cab (1) of a utility vehicle, comprising longitudinal bars (12) arranged under a base plate (14) associated with the under body (6) thereof. Said components are connected together by means of at least one transversal bar (24) which improves passenger safety in the cab. The invention is characterised in that the longitudinal bars (12) extend upwards in an angular manner above the underbody (14), whereby the free ends of the longitudinal bar sections (23) protruding to the roof are connected to the transversal bar.
