<p>A toy aircraft comprises an elastic band motor unit formed of a straight parallel-sided tube (2), a windable elastic member (1) within the tube (2) and attached to one end thereof and a rotatable member (7) attached to the windable elastic member and set in a mounting at the other end thereof. The tube (2) is of sufficient axial compressive strength to withstand the axial compression exerted on the ends of the tube by the wound up elastic member (1). Undercarriage (12), wing (15) and tail assemblies (22, 26) are adapted to be secured to the tube (2).</p> |
