<p>The sensor unit main body (10) of a tire air pressure sensor unit (1) is provided with an external signal capture terminal (22) for revising data stored in a ROM (21) therefor about self-identification codes. When tire wheels are exchanged because of a trouble in the sensor unit or for an exchange between summer tires and winter tires, the self-identification codes in the sensor unit (1) after exchange are revised so that they are the same as the self-identification codes in the sensor unit (1) before exchange, thereby eliminating the troublesome operation of associating the self-identification codes in the sensor unit with their vehicle-mounted positions.</p> |
