A power conversion system 10 for transferring input effort forces into output resistance forces. The system 10 comprises a support base 14 and a circular member 22 with an axis adapted to contact the base 14 to allow the circular member 22 to oscillate upon the base 14. A first attachment member 48 is secured to the axis of the gear and a second attachment member 50 is secured to the periphery of the circular member 22. An input power member 46 with an input shaft is operatively coupled to the first attachment member 48 and is adapted to convert a rotational motion of the input power member 46 to a reciprocating motion of the axis of the circular member 22. Lastly, an output power member 54 with an output shaft 52 operatively is coupled to the second attachment member 50, whereby power is efficiently transmitted from the input power member 46 through the oscillating motion of the circular member 22 which continuously reciprocates the fulcrum between the circular 22 member and the base 14. |
