<p>The invention relates to capillary blood pressure measuring instrument consisting of an elongated box (2) comprising, at one end, a mobile support element (4) which is provided to come into contact with the skin of the person being examined. Said support element (4) is connected to a pressure sensor (7) and is provided, on the support face (5) thereof, with means for emitting (8) and receiving (9) optical radiation, using the principle of photoplethysmography. The box (2) houses electronic means for processing and combining signals supplied by the pressure sensor (7) and the optical radiation receiver (9). The outside of said box (2) comprises a display (10) which is used to view the measurement results, in particular the pressure (P) measured when the oscillating capillary signal supplied by the optical radiation receiver (9) is extinguished. The signal analysis also provides the average and/or diastolic pressure. Said portable instrument can be used to take a measurement from any point on the human body.</p> |
