<p>A fuel cell power generating device operates by condensing the non-utilized exhaust gas discharged from a fuel cell by a condenser to recover water, normally monitoring the condensing ability of the condenser by a condensing ability detection means, controlling the output of a heating medium circulation means by a control means during possession of condensing ability so as to store the waste heat of the fuel cell in a heat utilizing means, and stopping the heating medium circulation means at the time of a decrease in the condensing ability so as to terminate the waste heat recovery. Alternatively, it comprises a fuel cell, a cooling pipe through which a first heating medium that carries the heat possessed by the fuel cell circulates, a cooling water pump for circulating the first heating medium, and a fuel cell temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the fuel cell, wherein even after the supply of fuel and an oxidant to the fuel cell has stopped, the cooling pump is operated until the temperature detected by the fuel cell temperature detector falls to a predetermined threshold value or bellow.</p> |
