A medical guide wire (2) having a wire main body (4) with a distal−end side small−diameter part (6) finer than a near−end side large−diameter part and a coil spring (12) attached around the distal−end side small−diameter part (6) of the wire main body (4). The coil spring (12) has a radiography wire rod (12a) wound in a coil form and a radiography wire rod (12b) wound in a coil form. The coiled end part of the radiography wire rod (12a) and the coiled end part of the non−radiography wire rod (12b) join by coming in contact on the side faces along the winding direction by the coiled winding of each wire rod.
