The invention relates to a device for the object-oriented control of at leas t one information display device, comprising at least one sensor device for th e detection of an object or a group of objects and a control unit. The inventi on is characterised in that the control unit is provided for the determination of at least one classification feature of at least one object or group of objec ts as detected by the sensor device and for the control of the at least one information display device on the basis of the at least one classification feature. The invention further relates to a system of at least one informati on display device and a device for the object-oriented control of the at least one information display device as previously described.
