The invention relates to a device for loosening and excavating earth or rocky subgrade, comprising a suction unit (18) and a cutting device (11) that is mounted on a boom (3). The suction unit (18) forms part of a suction device, which extracts cut material from the cutting area via a suction line (15) and a corresponding suction opening (21) that is located in the vicinity of the rotor cutter (12) and collects a corresponding volume of the same, for example in the interior (25) of an excavator shovel or the interior of a separator device (19). This combination of devices enables a rapid, precise operation during the excavation of pits, trenches or other cavities in earth or rocky subgrade, even in difficult working conditions. |
