<p>A database (BD) is created that collects a first set of positions that can be occupied by at least one terminal (T) relative to a given point in the network (BS) as well as a second set of profiles in module and phase over time of wave forms that can be received in the aforesaid given point (BS) following the emission of an impulsive signal by the aforesaid terminal (T) when the terminal is located in a respective position relative to the given point (BS). To proceed with the locating action, an impulsive signal (P) is selectively generated, starting from the terminal (T), which signal is received in the given point (BS) with a determined time profile. The position occupied by the terminal (T) upon emitting the impulsive signal (P) is identified as the position that in the database (BD) identifies the corresponding profile, i.e. the profile that best approximates the profile of the received wave form.</p> |
