The brake unit has an internally ventilated brake disc (1) and a pot-shaped holder part (2) which are connected together through finger-like connectors (7,8) which run from the holder part alternately to the inner friction ring (3) and outer friction ring (4). The brake disc and holder can be connected together through welding, soldering or adhesive.
