The roller shutter closure comprises individual slats (3) and guide rails and closure lock with cylinder core (13) connected to swivel bolt (14). The cylinder core swivels between an open position and closed position in the cylinder housing (12) which is housed in a socket element (11) where it can be moved perpendicular to the plane between an engaging position and extended position. The cylinder housing is biased towards to the extended position by springs (17). A bolt holding element which is mounted locally fixed relative to the first guide rail with whose guide groove the housing can engage has a bolt slot with which the swivel bolt (14) can engage when the cylinder housing engages with the guide groove on actuating the cylinder core so that the cylinder housing is held in this position.
