The storage unit used in conjunction with the robot is a cabinet (23) which docks with the robot cell and is equipped with individual drawers (31-38) which open into the robot cell. A drawer in the closed position lies with at least one part of its front (24) within the sweep range of the robot's arm (7). In the open position, at least one area of the drawer lies in the arm's sweep range. A drawer in its completely open position lies with one side edge (25) of its front close to or on the outer circle (28) of the robot arm's sweep range (18). |
