The system has a voltage isolating transformer (T1) with a low voltage output having a center tapping to two synchronous rectifiers (S5,S6). The high voltage windings are connected to switching stages (S1-S4). These are coupled to a controller. Both sides connect with smoothing capacitors (C1,C2). A switching delay is introduced to reduce thermal stresses.
