The packing corners for the stack of plates have all the abutting edges (15) of the interconnected outside walls (11, 12), base wall (13) and top wall (14) formed as ideal break points so that they can be separated and used as compensating elements. The outside walls, base wall and top wall each have in their free edge area an indented socket (17) for a dowel which can be inserted from the free edge and held herein by a spring tab (19) and used as a spacer when fixing the plate to a supporting wall. The packing corner is made as an injection molded plastics part of recycled material.
