Passenger seat comprises a seat frame (23) having two lateral seat frame tubes (24) arranged a distance apart. Each inner end (30) of the seat frame tubes adjacent to the back rest frame (26) is joined in a force-locking manner by a transition tube curve (31) to the end (32) of the lower thigh tube region (29). Compared with the associated lower thigh tube region, each transition tube curve has a greater wall thickness which at least partly protrudes into the adjacent lower thigh tube region and into the lateral seat frame tube. Preferred Features: Each tube curve has a uniform homogeneous cross-section over its entire length.
