PURPOSE: A composition for treatment of hemorrhoids containing Artemisiae asiaticae Herba, Epimedii Herba, Sanguisorbae Radix and Notoginseng Radix as a main ingredient is provided which has no adverse effect, contains no hazardous component and does not cause any pain and discomfort during treatment. CONSTITUTION: A therapeutic composition for hemorrhoids contains Artemisiae asiaticae Herba, Epimedii Herba, Sanguisorbae Radix and Notoginseng Radix in a dry weight ratio of 3:3:2:2 and one or more drugs selected from Lycii Radicis Cortex, Mume Fructus, Armeniacae Semen and Sophorae Flos having substantially the same weight as Artemisiae asiaticae Herba, Epimedii Herba.
