The invention relates to an arrangement for fastening a hydraulic clutch operating device, particularly a clutch operating cylinder, on a transmission case (40) of an internal-combustion engine, having a hydraulically operable piston (16) which is guided in a cylinder casing (12) and whose axial movement can be transmitted by way of a push rod to a clutch release device, the end of the cylinder casing (12) situated opposite a pressure space being closed off by an elastic sleeve (30) through which the push rod (14) is guided which is connected with the! piston (16). It is suggested that the end (22) of the cylinder casing (12) bounding the pressure space (18) is axially supported on the transmission case (40) and/or is secured by means of fastening devices (62), while the other end (28) of the cylinder casing (12) is radially guided within an opening (46) in the transmission case (40).
