A method for driving at least two units, where at least one of the units is driven only with timed control. A drive signal with at least one variable parameter is shaped for the units and a switching signal is generated for switching over the drive via the drive signal from one unit to the other unit. Independent claims are given for (A) a device for driving the units, and (B) for a computer program.
