The invention relates to a device that is used for learning to ride a bicycle. The inventive device consists of a double, triangular-shaped tubular element comprising flat projecting elements disposed at the ends of said tubular element. The flat projecting elements are provided with a curved portion that can be connected to the bicycle so as to surround one of the tubes of said bicycle, thereby ensuring that the device is solidly connected to the bike. The opposite end of the device comprises a handle which enables the user to hold said device. In this way, when a child is learning to ride a bicycle, an adult can help to maintain equilibrium and prevent frequent falls. Said device comprises means for adjusting the length and inclination thereof.
