The grip suspension, especially for an excavator with a rapid exchange unit for the shovel, has a fork shape with both legs on sliding bearing mountings as steel bushes with lubricating nipples or of plastics. The bushes are on extended excavator bolts, held in place by disks at the bolt ends. They have shaped sliding plates to assist mounting. They are secured to the bolts by wedge or sliding or rotating closures, to prevent an accidental opening and release. They are additionally secured by clamping screws or locked pins. Both arms of the suspension are identical.
