Particulate solid (A) contains more than 90, preferably more than 98, wt.% natural or synthetic surfactant (I); has mean particle size 10-3000 microns and contains (I) that are solid at room temperature, with melting point 25-250, preferably 35-90, deg C. An Independent claim is also included for a method for preparing (A).
