The device has several grippers (3) equipped for controlled gripping, holding and releasing each flat item. Each gripper (3) is mounted on a gripper arm (2) which is mounted with the gripper asymmetrically on the conveyor element so that the conveyor path (F) of the conveyor elements is spaced by a certain distance from a plane of symmetry which divides the gripper into two functionally identical parts. The gripper can rotate controlled 360 degrees about a gripper arm axis. Independent claim describes use of device for converting dense conveyor stream of printed products into aligned items. |
