PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent application of rotational force to paper due to a rotational speed difference of two carrier rollers. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a carrier roller 31a for carrying paper 32 along the carrying direction, a carrier roller 31b for carrying the paper 32 along the carrying direction together with the carrier roller 31a in the downstream of the carrying direction of the roller 31a, moving and driving motors 42a and 42b to be driving sources for moving the carrier rollers 31a and 31b in the direction orthogonally crossing the carrying direction and a control part 45 for controlling moving of the carrier rollers 31a and 31b by driving the moving and driving motors 42a and 42b. When the paper 32 carried by the carrier roller 31a is moved in the direction orthogonally crossing the carrying direction, the control part 45 imparts the same motor driving signal to each of the moving and driving motors 42a and 42b and thereby performs a control so that two roller positions may always coincide with each other in the direction orthogonally crossing the carrying direction.
