PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable disk storage case even if a thickness of the case per disk to be housed is small and the number of components is small. SOLUTION: Cylindrical portions 61 and 62 to be inserted into an inner periphery of elastic pieces 67 and 68 when covers 32 and 33 are closed are provided on a surface in the covers 32 and 33 which are opposite to the pieces 67 and 68. Even if an impact is applied to a disk-formed recording medium 12 in the disk storage case 31 due to a drop or the like during transportation or the like of the case 31, excessive deformation of the elastic pieces 67 and 68 can be prevented by providing the cylindrical portions 61 and 62 at positions where the elastic pieces 67 and 68 elastically deform and collide from behind.
