PURPOSE: A portable terminal applying a slide module is provided to maintain a closely sliding property between a cover and a device body and prevent clearance or quake during all direction movement when opening and closing a cover by installing a slide module between the cover and the device body. CONSTITUTION: A moving plate(104) is inserted and fixed between a device body(102) and a cover(103) for combining the cover(103) to be capable of slide movement centering around a random fixed axis. A moving block is installed for being capable of plane movement at its one side surface following the moving plate(104) and combining the device body(102) and the cover(103) at the other side surface. A position determining hole(106) is formed at a random point of the moving plate(104) for controlling a movement region of the moving block and determining an opening and closing position of the cover(103). An elastically fixed unit elastically locates the moving block which slides following the moving plate(104) in the position determining hole(106), and opens and closes the cover(103) from the device body(102).
