PURPOSE: A writing tool with a writing paper function is provided to recognize and to display certain characters by adopting an electronic processing procedure without requiring separate writing paper, thus maximizing the convenience of memo using the writing tool. CONSTITUTION: The writing tool with a writing paper function is provided with a liquid crystal display window installed with a plurality of control switches on a ball point pen shaped case, and contains a liquid crystal display part(8) to be exposed from the display window, a memory part(5), a control part(6), and a recognition sensor(4) within the case. Also, a connector(7) for the connection of a computer is installed over the liquid crystal display part.
