PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pressure control system having a simple structure and reducing excess return fuel to reduce an useless engine load. SOLUTION: The fuel injection pressure control system has a fuel pump 3 connected to a fuel tank; connects a fuel supply pipe 6 to the delivery side of the fuel pump 3; connects an injector 2 to the fuel supply pipe 6, arranges a pressure regulator 4 on the downstream side; connects a fuel return pipe 21 to the pressure regulator 4; and returns the excess fuel from the injector 2 to the fuel tank side via the fuel return pipe 21. The pressure regulator 4 has a first escape hole 19 for communicating the fuel supply pipe 6 with the fuel return pipe 21 by opening in a prescribed first relief pressure or more, and a second escape hole 20 for communicating the delivery side of the fuel pump 3 with the fuel return pipe 21 when a second relief pressure becomes higher than the first relief pressure in a state of opening the first escape hole 19. |
