PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic which has excellent piezoelectric characteristic, can be easily fired and further is excellent from a view point of pollution reduction, environmental protection and ecological protection. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric substrate 1 contains a composition composed of a perovskite type oxide and a tungusten bronze type oxide. As the perovskite type oxide, (Na1-x Kx )(Nb1-y Tay ) O3 can be cited and as the tungusten bronze type oxide, M(Nb1-z Taz )2 O6 (wherein M is alkaline earth metal element) can be cited. Content of the tungusten bronze type oxide in the composition is in a range of <=1 mol%. Thereby the composition can be easily calcined, electromechanical coupling coefficient kr of radial direction vibration and Qmax can be increased and dielectric constant εr can be decreased, for example, below 300. |
