PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor capable of preventing fuel from flowing into an engine even if the carburetor inclines in any direction when stopping the engine. SOLUTION: A fuel discharge port 46 of a fuel discharge passage 40 connected to a float chamber 12 is arranged on the opposite side of the float chamber 12 with an intake air passage 16 as the center. An inclinationθb of an oil level 34b for connecting the oil level center 36 of the float chamber 12 and an opening part of a main nozzle 18 is set larger than an inclinationθc of an oil level 34c for connecting the oil level center 36 of the float chamber 12 and the fuel discharge port 46. Thus, even if a carburetor body 10 inclines to the main nozzle 18 side, the fuel in the float chamber 12 is discharged outside from the fuel discharge port 46 for an overflow, so that the fuel does not flow out into the intake air passage 16 from the main nozzle 18.
